Update: Taiwan Pink Dolphin Beaches and Dies on the Coast of Tonghsiao

A recent news report that aired locally in Taiwan claims the beaching and death of a Taiwan Pink Dolphin last week was caused by fishing trawlers.

Click to watch the news clip. The report is in Mandarin but the gist of the report is that the death was caused by fishers -- newly licensed trawlers, but who are operating illegally within the 3 nautical mile zone. The clip shows footage of the beached dolphin.
